The story of this movie revolves around Mumtaz, the elder daughter of a big Brahmin family having many sisters and brothers.Mumtaz is forced to sell her body, to meet the financial needs of her big poor family sacrificing her own life for the welfare of her family members.
But as it happens, Aaina in parts made me quite nostalgic as I was a young person in the 90s and remember more than a few of the trends. And I was pleasantly surprised by the way the movie uses clothes to create a persona.
